LPG CYLINDERS

Cylinders Engineering Industries (Pvt) Ltd provides you with customized LPG cylinders and cylinder parts. Our company uses metal industry experience to produce cylinders. You can contact us if your capacity does not meet your requirements or your infrastructure is not sufficient to produce some products. Every product will be produced with care. We are very careful to deliver your order safely and quickly.

LPG cylinders are available in various specifications and sizes. It is colorless and odorless also it is flammable. It is kept under pressure in special pressure vessels in a liquid state. The sales area of LPG cylinders is quite wide.

LPG can be stored and used in various types of devices. Cylinders are the most common LPG storage and handling method. Cylinders depending on their capacities are manufactured from two or three pieces.

LPG CYLINDER PARTS

LPG cylinder body is usually made of Steel Sheet, 2.8mm and 3.0mm in thickness. However, there are other alternatives. Composite and aluminum are also two commonly used raw materials. Alternative materials may be preferred in terms of lightness. Transport will be easier if the bodies are light. The most basic task of the cylinder body is to safely protect the gas. The body must be resistant to impact. Because it should not be pierced and gas leaked during transfer. The size of the LPG cylinder body may change according to country.

LPG cylinders are manufactured either in a two-piece or three-piece construction. In two-piece construction, cylinders are fabricated by welding two domed ends directly together. A three-piece cylinder is fabricated by joining two domed ends to a cylindrical body. Thickness depends on several factors such as the outer diameter of the cylinder, cylinder test pressure, yield strength of the material, shape of cylinder dome, weld joint factor, the ratio of domed end diameter to height, dishing radius, knuckle radius, and length of straight flange. LPG cylinder bodies are formed in the LPG cylinder body forming line.

LPG cylinder bottom ring protects the cylinder’s bottom from damage. Also, the bottom ring helps to stack the cylinders on each other. There are holes between the LPG cylinder bottom ring and the body. The primary purpose of the holes is for the circulation of air between the surface and cylinder. Furthermore, the water between the body and the ring will shorten the life of the cylinders as it will cause corrosion. Damage from water can cause gas leakage. The holes help to drain the water. The cylinder bottom ring is important for both safety and easy stacking.

LPG cylinder bung or valve neck or a cylinder part is also referred to as the collarette, valve boss, or neck ring. LPG cylinder valve neck is the connection part of a cylinder body and valve.
LPG cylinder bung and valve connection are made by the means of threads inside the valve boss. Bung is a critical part of the cylinder. Bungs are manufactured carefully in CNC machines and carefully controlled to avoid gas leaks. The parts are designed for security purposes and have an important role in preventing gas leakage. In manufacturing the LPG cylinder bung a high precision manufacturing technique is required. Because this part of the cylinder has a fairly large precaution for safety. Any problems that may occur in the part can cause gas to leak out of the cylinder.
We are producing safe and quality cylinder bungs for cylinders thanks to our experience and technical knowledge.

LPG cylinder guard ring makes one cylinder ready to hold another cylinder. It provides the cylinders to stack on top of each other during transport or storage. LPG cylinder guard ring protects the valve from damage that may be caused by impact when moving the LPG Cylinders. Another function of the guard ring is to easily hold and carry the cylinder. There are hand holes for better handling. These holes are designed to provide better grip. Guard ring designs can change according to country or customer request.
